Our Pastor

The Reverend Eric Bond, Priest-in-Charge

Our Priest-in-Charge and pastor is The Rev. Eric Bond. Father Eric also serves as rector at St. John’s Church in Huntingdon Valley, a neighboring parish with which COOS shares a Ministry Covenant for mission cooperation and mutual support.

Eric previously served as chaplain at Church Farm School in Exton following seminary formation at Episcopal Divinity School and graduate study at University of Chicago. Born outside of Chicago, he was raised in Chester County, PA and graduated from Penn State University. Eric is married to Carolyn, a Gettysburg native and adjunct sociology professor at LaSalle University; they are gratefully blessed to be the parents of Maggie, 12; Will, 8; Sam, 5; and twins, Pat and Tom, 2.

Naz Javier, Pastoral Assistant

Church of our Saviour is pleased to welcome the ministry of Naz Javier, a former Roman Catholic priest who will be with us through spring 2014 as he goes through the process of formation for ministry in the Episcopal Church.  Naz attended college and seminary in New York after he and his family migrated from the Philippines in the 1980s.  He has a degree in social work and years of pastoral experience.  Until recently, he was the organist at the Church of the Crucifixion In Philadelphia.
