Holy Week

Every Sunday we celebrate the resurrection of the Lord. Jesus' resurrection is so significant to our faith that we also set aside one special day and a season of fifty days to commemorate the event. This year, Easter Day falls on April 15th. Holy Week and Easter Week focus on the core of our faith. As St. Paul writes, "If there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised; and if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation has been in vain and your faith has been in vain." (1 Corinthians 15:13-14).
Easter Week and Holy Week define who we are as Christians.
The build up to the miracle of the empty tomb begins with Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Palm Sunday begins Holy Week. Liturgies recalling the events leading to Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection comprise this holiest of weeks. Below is the parish schedule for Holy Week and Easter.
